Frequently Asked Questions

EZ-Transit requires a 2-hour advanced reservation. We are willing to accommodate immediate pickups and will charge an additional fee of $25 for any reservation made less than 2 hours before travel time. 

Our base rates include up to 10 miles. Any mileage after the first 10 will be charged based on the odometer reading at the end of the trip. You can see our full rates on our Terms of Service page.

The following days are subject to additional fees:

  • New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday (Day after Thanksgiving)

  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

All reservations require a deposit of not more than 20% of the quoted charter price. Please see our full Terms of Service for more information.

EZ-Transit provides contract services to help employers get their employees to job sites. All contract services will be for a term of not less than 30 days.

Yes, a wait time fee of $5.00 for every 15 minutes or any fraction thereof will apply when:

  1. The driver is requested to wait for a customer at the destination.
  2. The driver is requested to wait for a customer at any stop during the trip.
  3. Upon arrival at the pickup location, our driver will wait for 20-minutes before the customer is charged a wait time fee.

Yes, we do! There may be additional fees for larger vehicles, but we try our best to accommodate everyone.

EZ-Transit will add any additional expenses at the end of the trip, such as tolls, entrance, and parking fees.  

Suppose any trips require the vehicle and driver to remain at the destination or any point en route to the destination overnight. In that case, the patron will be responsible for providing the driver with accommodations at an overnight facility and meals.

Yes, service must begin in Allegheny County and end at a point in Pennsylvania.
